The location of the Church makes it easy for people travelling from Loule, Sao Bras, Taveria, Faro and all the surrounding areas. There is a Sunday Eucharist each Sunday morning at 11.30 am, with Order No 2 being used on the third Sunday of each month.
St. Luke’s Church is a delightful location for Wedding Blessings and several are held throughout the year. Baptisms and Christenings are usually incorporated within the Sunday Services. Funerals and Memorial Services are part of the function of the Church.
Adjacent to the Church is a charming Village Hall. This is used for the congregation to gather after Sunday Service and partake of refreshments. There are many brought and share lunches held within.
Throughout the past months there has been many activities encouraging friendship and fellowship within the Church.
We have participated in Golf Tournament and B.B.Q, Jazz Lunch, a Cocktail Party for the British Ambassador, John Buck,where 123 people attended. “LAST NIGHT OF THE PROMS” concert, with artists from all over Europe participating.
There is always a splendid Harvest Giving Service and collecting of food, distributed to the Portugese. Harvest lunch afterwards.
