08:00 - Holy Communion - quiet reflective service. Service time approximately 30 minutes

12:00 - Holy Communion with resident choir and Sunday School. Service time approximately 65 minutes. Fellowship in local cafe after the service for those not rushing of for lunch.

Almancil

09:30 - Holy Communion (Sung). Service time approximately 60 minutes, Fellowship opportunity in local cafe after the Service

St. Luke's

11:30 - Holy Communion (Sung) (BCP on third Sunday of the month). Approximate Service time 65 minutes.Fellowship with wine and coffee served in the Village Hall after the Service,

Weekday Services:

10:00 - Every Thursday - Holy Communion

Boliqueime Chaplaincy House

11:00 - 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month - Holy Communion.

Occasional Services:

Tavira - Capella of Nossa Senhora de Carno - Vila Gale Hotel, Albacora, Rio Formosa.

18:00 - Evening Prayer on 2nd Sunday of each month

Alpha Course - commenced 24th January at Luz

The Alpha Course in the Western District has been running for four weeks (at Casa do Jardim in Luz), and is going extremely well under the leadership of Fr Haynes and Bob Kelly. Ten people who have not done the course before have joined with the 2 leaders and 8 helpers, each week to participate in fellowship and friendship.

They are following the excellent basic teaching in Christianity by the gentle, amusing and easy-to-follow Nicky Gumbel, on the DVD version. In relaxed and no-pressure discussions which follow the screening, there has been debate, searching questions and a considerable amount of bonding between everyone. Meals provided by the helpers have been delicious, and there has also been time for social interaction. It seems that everyone looks forward to the next session…..
