Father Rob Kean - Chaplain

Father Rob Kean joined the Chaplaincy in April 2017 from the Diocese of Chelmsford. Rob has been ordained since 2012, and served his curacy in the parishes of Black and Great Notley, then becoming Team Vicar in the Witham and Villages Team, before coming to St Vincent's Chaplaincy. He is married to Angela and they have two grown up children, Sam and Sophie.  He is based at Praia da Luz in the western Algarve but oversees the whole Chaplaincy.

Locum Chaplains (East and Central)
At the moment the East and Central congregations are served by locum chaplains.  These chaplains are with us on a month by month basis.  Pictured is Father Ron Curtis, who regularly serves the chaplaincy as a locum.

Licensed Lay Ministers

Chris Wells - Licensed Lay Minister, Luz Church

Chris wears many hats, as well as being our newest Lay Minister, he is also a Churchwarden, blueberry farmer, lecturer on pain management and husband to Tricia.  His love of the Algarve has spread to his children, and his daughter's family now also live close by.

Alison West

Alison moved to the Algarve in 2013 from Cyprus (and Wiltshire in the UK) and was delighted to find such a friendly congregation in Boliqueime.  She likes to solve people's IT problems (when possible!) and bake cakes.
